Open Shito-Ryu Karate World Cup

The International Hayashi ha Shito-Ryu Karate-do Federation's 2014 Open Shito-Ryu Karate World Cup promises to be one of the highlights of the elite international Karate scene. December 5th-7th, the door opens in Budapest, Hungary with an open invitation to international athletes and enthusiasts.

Beyond the competitive Open Shito-Ryu World Cup titles, opportunities abound to enhance kata, kumite, and referee skills via elite level seminars taught by world-renowned instructors.

Kata Seminars will be instructed by Hanshi Julius Thiry (International Hayashi ha Shito ryu Karate-do Federation President) and Sensei Katherine Jones Thiry; both are award-winning teachers of enumerable individual and team WKF world titleholders.

For those seeking enhanced kumite skills, Seminars will be held by Seiji Nishimura WKF World Champion and Adam S. Kovács WKF World Games Champion.

Mr. Chuck Sweigart, WKF referee, will steward the Referees meeting with the support of members of the Referees Commission.
